I started Finding Connecticut to create something that celebrates all the places that make this state unique—every town, every main street, every corner with a story. My goal is to have designs for most of Connecticut’s towns available by the end of the year. Depending on my workload, that might happen even sooner.

Who designs the merch and where does the profit go?

I design everything myself. From the apparel and graphics to the photography, social media, and content you see on the websites—Finding Connecticut is a one-woman show. Every piece is thoughtfully created to reflect the unique spirit of Connecticut’s towns.

All profits go right back into growing the platform—from covering operational costs to investing in creative equipment, software, and tools that help me stay current with design and photography trends. I also collaborate with Connecticut organizations on fundraising efforts to give back locally.

Where do you see the pages going?

The growth has been incredible—we’re on pace to reach over 1.5 visitors and more than 3 million page views this year alone. My goal is to continue expanding, with designs for most Connecticut towns available by the end of the year. I also offer affordable advertising for small businesses, real estate listings, and weekly job board opportunities to support the community.
